Mom, children hit by car in northeast Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A woman and her two children were hit by a car while crossing the street in northeast Las Vegas on Tuesday evening.
Police say the incident happened just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of East Bonanza Road and Betty Lane.
The woman was crossing Bonanza at a controlled intersection, pushing her 8-month-old in a stroller with her 3-year-old walking next to her.
As they were crossing, a car turning left onto Bonanza struck them, knocking them down.
The mother and her two children suffered minor injuries and were taken to University Medical Center to be evaluated.
The driver was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
