2 hospitalized in Henderson house fire
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Two people were hospitalized after a fire at a Henderson home on Monday morning.
Firefighters were called to the house near Gibson Road and Boulder Highway at about 9:15 a.m.
The fire was contained to one room, but smoke damaged much of the house.
Two people inside were able to escape, but suffered smoke inhalations and burns. They were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated.
Firefighters were aided by Southwest Gas, NV Energy and City of Henderson Building Inspectors.
The damage was estimated at $40,000.
Investigators believe the blaze was accidental.
