Body found in search for man washed away in flood

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Searchers believe they've found the body of 38-year-old Cayetano Lopez-Solis, the man who disappeared in Tuesday's flooding.

A body was found near South Hollywood Boulevard and East Rochelle Avenue just after 3 p.m..

A spokesperson for Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed a body was found, but could not confirm that it was that of Lopez-Solis. 

The Clark County coroner's office is expected to release the identity and cause of death. 

Lopez-Solis disappeared Tuesday when severe flooding swept through the are of Desert Rose Golf Course.

Volunteers and rescue crews launched a search for Lopez, which later turned to a recovery effort.

Lopez-Solis worked in the recycling division at Par 3 Landscape and Maintenance. Par 3 had more than 100 employees aid in the search for Lopez-Solis after he was discovered missing.
