President Obama arrives in Las Vegas for speech at Cashman Center
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- President Barack Obama arrived in Las Vegas just after 4 p.m. Wednesday in preparation for a speech at the Cashman Center.
Air Force one touched down shortly before 3 p.m. at McCarran International Airport.
President Obama waved and debarked from the plane, quickly getting into a limousine to head to the Cashman Center in Las Vegas' downtown area.
President Obama's speech is now scheduled to begin at about 6:10 p.m. He is expected to talk about the economy, a point of interest for Nevada voters.
It was not clear whether Obama planned to touch on Tuesday's violence in the Middle East during his speech.
