Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) --- AT&T's partnership with Communities in Schools of Nevada is paying big dividends for Valley schools. On Tuesday, the telecommunications giant presented a check for $178,000 to help put a stop to the high school dropout crisis in Nevada.

Through CISN, students are connected with medical and dental care as well as tutoring and career counseling. Communities in Schools of Nevada is the local affiliate of the nation's leading dropout prevention program.

CISN has been serving 25,000 students over 40 schools in Southern and Northeastern Nevada since 2008.
