Sandoval encourages Nevada residents to remember 9/11 through service
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Gov. Brian Sandoval is encouraging Nevadans to remember 9/11's victims, survivors and families through service-oriented programs.
Sandoval has partnered with Nevada Volunteers, The Corporation for national and Community Service and MyGoodDeed to encourage Nevada residents to make a pledge to serve their community this year in honor of Sept. 11 through the "I Will" campaign.
Sandoval pledged to serve forty hours last year. he will reveal his pledge for this year's campaign today on his Twitter page.
Nevadans can be involved in the "I Will" campaign by:
Pledging through the "I Will" campaign at www.911day.org.
Tweeting their "I Will" pledge with the hashtag #911day and #serveNV.
Sharing their pledge on Facebook and tagging "@Nevada Volunteers" in their pledge.
