Flooded Las Vegas church on the road to recovery
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Members of Hope Baptist Church near Cactus and Maryland Parkway are still putting the pieces back together after the building was damaged by storms last month.
Flood water got inside the building, ruining the dry wall and flooring.
But, church members aren't letting that get in the way of their faith.
They say that getting their place of worship back to 100% will take a while but it may be a blessing in disguise.
Flooding also damaged part of the road near the church.
The pastor says he has been told the road could be closed for months.
