North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Detectives with the North Las Vegas Police Department need help locating a person they believe has pertinent information regarding a North Las Vegas pawn store robbery.

On Friday around 4 p.m., a pawn store located in the 2000 block of West Craig Road was robbed by a man armed with a handgun. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle.

A short time later, officers located the vehicle and a chase ensued. The suspect crashed his vehicle near the area of Smoke Ranch Road and Michael Way.

Officers setup a perimeter with the assistance of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and searched for the man. After several hours, the search ended without locating the suspect.

Detectives are looking to question 23-year-old Torrence Walls.
