9/11 Angel Car Tour rolls through Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A special tour came to Las Vegas. The 9/11 Angel Cars arrived Friday.
Imagined into reality by a life long drag racer, the cars commemorate those who lost their lives on that terrible day 10 years ago.
Filled with the names of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, organizers say there isn't a town they visit that isn't touched by the vehicles.
The cars will be in Las Vegas throughout the weekend before heading to Los Angeles.
This is the second tour for the program which hopes to take the vehicles across the country.
The cars can be viewed in Las Vegas Saturday night and Sunday afternoon:
- Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Cellar Lounge on Sahara and Valley View from 6-7 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 9 at Kohl's at 6700 North Durango from 12-4 p.m.
