Sandoval talks of upcoming Asian trade mission
CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) -- Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval is preparing for his upcoming trade mission to China and South Korea.
The Republican governor met Wednesday in Las Vegas with members of the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce to discuss his upcoming trip and what he hopes to accomplish.
Sandoval says he wants to identify opportunities for Nevada companies to export their products and services to growing Asian markets. At the same time, he hopes to encourage Chinese and South Korean investment in the Silver State.
Sandoval will visit Asia Sept. 15-26. It will be the first time a Nevada governor has led a trade mission to both countries.
