Police: Woman raped at gunpoint by stranger
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was raped in Las Vegas last week.
Officers were called to the area of Pebble and Durango early Tuesday morning, where a woman said she had been sexually assaulted.
The victim told police she was walking on Decatur near Russell when a man stopped and offered her a ride. He drover her to a desert area and raped her at gunpoint. The man is described as 55-65 years old, about 5-feet 8-inches tall and 200 pounds with blue eyes, short white hair and a reddish complexion.
He was last seen wearing dark pants and a white T-shirt. The victim told police he was driving a 80's or 90's model burgundy sedan. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
