Broken AC closes local elementary school
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local elementary school will be closed Wednesday because its air conditioning system is not working.
Students were transported Tuesday from Pat Diskin Elementary near West Flamingo Road and South Rainbow Boulevard to another school because of the problem.
According to the Clark County School District, the problem will not be fixed by Wednesday. Officials say that buses will still pick up students at their normal time and take them to Decker Elementary for the day.
Parents can also keep their children home for the day and the absence will be excused.
