Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- An event dedicated to making sure residents get through natural disasters safely came to Las Vegas.
The 2012 Survival Expo took place at Cashman Center over Labor Day weekend.
The event hoped to educate residents about ways to survive any type of disaster, such as earthquakes and flash floods, with more than 100 vendors available.
This was the first year for the event and organizers said it was a success.
