Fugitive arrested for attempted murder of police officer
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department "CATS" Detectives arrested Joaquin LopezCaraballo, 36, also known as Reinhold Neumann.
He was arrested on Thursday for an outstanding warrant for parole violation. He was also booked for an 8-year-old warrant for the attempted murder of a police officer out of Utah.
Detectives received information that LopezCaraballo was working at a local Las Vegas resort.
As a result of the investigation, LopezCaraballo was arrested on the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South.
LopezCaraballo is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center, pending extradition to Utah.
