Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local church is doing its part this weekend to help those in need.

Volunteers from Grace Point Church were at Las Vegas Rescue Mission Saturday, handing out meals to the homeless.

The pastor said they looked at the needs around the Valley and decided to help out.

Saturday's event is just one of many they have planned for Labor Day weekend.

"We're doing things like park cleanup, graffiti removal, bagging groceries, water on the street corner; a lot of different things we're doing just to give back to the community. We've got over 200 people serving the North Las Vegas area, loving their community and just caring about it," said Pastor Ty Neal.

This is something Pastor Neal said the church does all throughout the year.
