AAA: 33 million Americans to travel over holiday weekend
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Labor Day is one of the busiest holiday weekends for travelers, but it's going to cost drivers more to reach their destinations.
AAA expects 33 million Americans to take a trip this weekend; up 3-percent from last year.
But because Hurricane Isaac damaged refineries and oil platforms in the Gulf Coast, gas prices have spiked 6-cents per gallon over the past day.
Nationally, gas prices are averaging $3.82 a gallon.
The average around Las Vegas is $3.66; up 5-cents from this time last week.
