Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Nevada Board of Medical Examiners suspended the licenses of two Valley doctors.

Paperwork was filed against Doctors Larry Yee and Richard Alan Singer Friday.

Dr. Yee worked as a family practice doctor, Dr. Singer was an anesthesiologist.

Investigators said Lee was prescribing controlled substances without proper privileges.

Dr. Singer had been under investigation for possible competence or conduct violations. He allegedly told investigators he was voluntarily surrendering his clinical privileges, but didn't.
