Labor Day closures around the valley
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The following is a list of offices and agencies that will be closed for Labor Day, Sept. 3:
-- U.S. Postal Service
-- Federal, state & county offices will be closed
-- Las Vegas municipal offices
-- North Las Vegas city office and parks and recreation department
-- Henderson municipal offices
Several community and senior citizen centers will also be closed in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson. Check with individual center.
-- All libraries in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson
-- Clark County School District, University of Nevada, Las Vegas and College of Southern Nevada
-- Republic Services: trash will be collected if scheduled but offices will be closed
-- Southwest Gas
-- Nevada Power: customer service available by phone
-- Banks: call individual bank
