1 killed in fire near Bonanza and H Street
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One person is dead after a fire at an apartment complex near Bonanza and H Street on Thursday evening.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Wilson Avenue just before 6 p.m. The fire was confined mostly to a bedroom.
They were quickly able to control the fire, but later confirmed a woman was extracted and taken to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The victim has not been identified.
Firefighters say the damage was estimated at $10,000.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
