Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Wet weather shut down some roadways in rural areas of Clark County on Thursday afternoon.

Bonnie Springs Road off State Route 159 and Arroyo Street off State Route 159 in Blue Diamond were both closed temporarily.

Other streets in the greater Las Vegas area saw minor flooding.

Drivers are warned to avoid driving through streets covered with water. It takes only a small amount of flooding to move a car, and flooded roadways often carry debris.

The Las Vegas area saw major flooding last Wednesday when a monsoon swept through the area.

Several cars had to be pulled out by tow trucks after becoming stranded.

Action News will continue to update this story as new information becomes available.
