Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A mini-crime wave is a huge problem for a commercial complex in North Las Vegas. A store owner emailed Action News to find out what can be done about it.

Anita Jones says her clothing shop "It's This Simple", on Martin Luther King Boulevard near Gowan, has been ripped off three times in just a few months. She says other businesses in the complex have been robbed too.

Anita said she's lost $5,000 in merchandise and property damage so far this year and the crime spree threatens to put her out of business.

She said, "It's just escalating and it's getting worse and worse and this is killing my bottom line."

Anita wants her leasing agent to provide security but Action News discovered, the lease agreement she signed says that's the tenant's responsibility.

However, Action News was able to put her in touch with the North Las Vegas Police watch commander in her area to see if more crime prevention can be done.
