DUI checkpoint planned in Henderson this weekend
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- Henderson police are planning a DUI checkpoint this Labor Day Weekend.
Police say the checkpoint will take place on St. Rose Parkway near Eastern Avenue on Friday night from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Officers in Henderson will be assisted by other local police departments.
Labor Day Weekend is one of the most deadly times of year to be on the road, along with Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve.
This weekend's checkpoint is made possible by the Joining Forces Grant.
