"Girls Gone Wild" creator and Steve Wynn headed to court
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The war of words is heating up between casino mogul Steve Wynn and "Girls Gone Wild" creator Joe Francis.
Francis is suing Wynn for emotional distress and claims to have threatening email that went by Wynn.
Francis claims that Wynn threatened to kill him over an unpaid casino debt.
Court documents that were filed in 2010 says that the email said Wynn would have Francis killed by bashing him "in the back of the head with a shovel" and then buried in a sandy grave.
Wynn denies ever sending an email.
The trouble between the pair started in 2009 when Francis refused to pay a $2 million debt owed to one of Wynn's casinos.
Francis accused Wynn of deceptive practices at his casinos. Wynn sued him for defamation.
A Nevada judge ruled in favor of Wynn and ordered Francis to pay $7.5 million.
The two are scheduled to go to court next week in Los Angeles.
