Thieves steal donation box from local church
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for thieves who stole a donation box from a North Las Vegas church earlier this summer.
Authorities say the burglary happened on June 24 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on West El Campo Grande near Ann Road.
Church administrators told police a man and a woman stole the large donation box. Surveillance video shows a man tampering with the box while a woman looks around. The man eventually steals the box, and both leave the church.
The man is described as 25-35 years old with short brown hair and a medium build. The woman is described as between 25-35 years old with long brown hair and a heavy build.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
