Fire crews respond to Sunday afternoon fire in empty apartment
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to an apartment fire at the Sierra Apartment complex, near East Desert Inn and Paradise Roads, on Sunday afternoon.
The first arriving fire unit found fire conditions on the north side of the complex in an unoccupied first-floor apartment.
Fire crews were able to control the fire in about 3 minutes.
Two civilians were treated on scene with minor injuries. There were no injuries to any firefighters.
The fire caused an estimated $10,000 to the apartment. No other apartments were damaged and no other occupants were displaced.
