Body found in car prompts homicide investigation
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The discovery of a body inside a parked car on the east side of the Valley prompted a homicide investigation on Monday morning.
Police were called to the 4000 block of Alameda Avenue, near Stewart and Lamb, at about 5 a.m. for reports of a burglary.
When they arrived, they discovered a body inside a car in front of a home.
Neighbors were evacuated from their homes as a precaution.
Police later made an arrest in the area, but it was unclear whether the arrest was connected to the discovery of the body.
