Large renovation project finished at Henderson park
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- A park in Henderson is now new and improved.
A grand reopening was held Saturday at Wells Park near Boulder Highway and Sunset.
The $1.8 million project features several renovations and additions. Those include a life-size chess board, a new pool slide and resurfaced deck, climbing wall, picnic pavilions and even exercise equipment.
The changes were put in place following feedback from residents.
Several city officials, including Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen, were on hand for the celebration and ribbon cutting.
