Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the victim of a homicide after his body was found in the northeast part of the Valley on Friday.

He was 19-year-old Daniel Dean Way of Las Vegas.

Police say Way's body was found by a woman walking her dog near Los Feliz and Bonanza at about 7 a.m. that morning.

Detectives were called to the scene and later determined the man was victim of homicide, but were unable to identify him. They released a description and photos of his tattoos in hopes someone would recognize the man.

Now, they know Way's identity, but do not know what may have prompted someone to kill him.

Police are looking for a suspect vehicle in the case: a silver or gray late-model Chevrolet or GMC extended cab 4-wheel drive pickup truck with a raised suspension system and loud exhaust. It was seen leaving the area where the body was found at about 4 a.m. that morning.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or Daniel Way is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
