Coroner IDs man killed in Laughlin rollover
LAUGHLIN, Nev. (AP) -- Authorities have identified a 31-year-old Pahrump man who died in a rollover crash in Laughlin that left two children with minor injuries.
The Clark County coroner says Benjamin Michael Labee was killed in the crash a little after 8 p.m. Monday.
Las Vegas police say Labee's Toyota 4 Runner was on Casino Drive, east of Needles Highway, when it veered off the road and overcorrected.
Police say the car rolled, and Labee was thrown from the vehicle. Officials say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
An 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, both from Pahrump, were wearing seatbelts and were taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
Labee's death marks the 78th traffic fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction this year.
