Horse tests positive for West Nile Virus in Nevada
Las Vegas, NV (KITNV) -- A horse in Churchill County, Nevada has tested positive for West Nile Virus.
The 2-year-old horse tested positive for West Nile Virus after not being vaccinated for the past year. It has since been euthanized.
The information came from the Nevada Dept. of Agriculture's Animal Disease and Food Safety Laboratory.
The case is the first of West Nile Virus this year in Nevada.
