Police ask for help identifying victim's body
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are asking for help to identify the body of a man found by a woman walking her dog last week.
The woman made the gruesome discovery in the northeast Las Vegas area, near Los Feliz Street and Bonanza Road, on Friday.
She alerted police, who launched an investigation and ruled the death a homicide- but they haven't been able to identify the man.
He's described as a white male between 16 and 25 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 135 and 150 pounds with light brown hair. The victim had a tattoo of a green skull on his right shoulder and letters on his left forearm.
Police released photos of his tattoos, hoping someone will recognize them.
Anyone with information on the crime or the victim's identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
