People of Las Vegas help family after moving truck stolen
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- They lost everything when their moving truck was stolen just hours after arriving in the valley, but a community they barely know is now rallying around them in support.
It was on Friday when we first told you how the Lovelady family's moving truck was stolen while they slept at a Holiday Inn in Henderson.
The truck was found two days later with almost everything inside now missing.
Since then our newsroom has been flooded with calls and emails asking how to help.
“I am so grateful and so humbled by the love that everyone has put out for us,” said Rebecca Lovelady.
A fundraiser for the family is going to be held on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon at Desert Spring United Methodist Church on North Pavilion Center Drive.
