2 killed in Centennial Center crash identified
LAS VEGAS, NV (KTNV) - The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the two victims killed in a crash on West Centennial Center Boulevard on Sunday morning.
They were 21-year-old Blake Shirley and 19-year-old Tyler Watts.
The collision happened just after 6:30 a.m. when police say a Nissan was racing another car. The Nissan veered out of its lane, slid into a raised median and smashed into a palm tree, flipping it over.
The two men were pronounced dead at the scene. A 22-year-old woman in the car was critically injured in the crash.
Both men died of multiple blunt force trauma, according to the coroner's office.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
