Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Back-to-school time is getting a lot easier for some students in the Valley.

A local non-profit is helping foster kids prepare for school.

The CASA Foundation handed out backpacks and school supplies for dozens of foster kids Sunday.

The organization partnered with Square Salon to put on the event. The salon also provided pampering for the students, giving them free hair cuts.

Kids got the chance to take fun photos and enjoy entertainment.

Right now, there are over 3,500 kids in foster care in Clark County.
