Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Local residents were helping out with a large need in the Valley.
A blood drive was held Sunday at the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino.
As Southern Nevada's community blood provider, United Blood Services relies on donations to make sure blood is available.
The service is in critical need of Type O Negative blood, which is the universal donor.
All donors must be over 21-year-old.
