Fire station holds open house for the public
Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- Clark County firefighters opened their doors to the public for an open house.
The station near Eastern and Desert Inn offered some special services, ahead of the new school year.
They offered free immunizations, as well as vision and dental screenings Saturday.
Those attending also received information about injury prevention, fire safety and drowning prevention.
Organizers said it's just another way firefighters try to connect with the public they serve.
The fire department hosts open houses, with community partners, every other month on Saturdays at different neighborhood fire stations in the county.
