Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Hundreds of parents joined Action News' Be Smart. Be Safe. Be Seen. campaign Saturday.
They signed the pledge to be careful on the roadways at Nevada's PTA meeting.
The state's parent-teacher association held its annual leadership training at Palo Verde High School Saturday morning.
About 300 parents represented schools from across the entire Valley.
The new school year starts August 27.
