Flash flood warning issued for central Clark County
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a flash flood warning for central Clark County.
The warning will be in effect until 5:30 p.m.
From the NWS:
AT 330 PM PDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED FLASH FLOODING FROM A THUNDERSTORM NEAR MOUNTAINS EDGE...OR 13 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS. THE STORM PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING WAS NEARLY STATIONARY. AN AUTOMATED STATION NEAR BLUE DIAMOND HIGHWAY AND RAINBOW HAS REPORTED NEARLY SIX TENTHS OF AN INCH OF RAIN IN 15 MINUTES.
LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...MOUNTAINS EDGE...S RAINBOW AND DECATUR BLVDS.
