Senator Marco Rubio campaigns for Romney in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Florida senator Marco Rubio spoke to supporters in Las Vegas on Thursday morning.
Rubio was believed to be a front-runner as Mitt Romney's running mate before Paul Ryan was announced.
Rubio is using his conservative credentials to support Romney and Dean Heller.
He says a Heller victory will be important to put Republicans in the majority in the senate.
Rubio also discussed the importance of a medicare overhaul and limiting big government, which Nevada Democrats say is off-base.
President Obama is planning another visit to Nevada next week. He'll be in Reno on Tuesday then travel to Las Vegas on Wednesday.
