Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – Las Vegas police are on the scene of a shooting at the Allanza at the Lakes Apartments on Starboard Drive, near Desert Inn and Durango.
Investigators say the shooting victim has non-life threatening injuries and is stable after undergoing surgery at University Medical Center.
Police say a resident of the apartment complex called 911 after hearing gunshots around 10 p.m. The resident allegedly looked out the window and saw a man shoot another man.
Investigators believe the shooting victim drove to his house near Alta Drive and Antelope Way where he called police and requested help after he was reportedly shot twice in the back.
The shooter was last seen running toward Durango. Police say they're looking to question a man named Trinidad, driving a gold Cadillac.
