 Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 23-year-old man has been charged after authorities discovered marijuana growing inside a southwest Las Vegas home on Monday night.

Michael D. Herda was charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to sell.

Officers served a search warrant at a home on the 8300 block of Fox Brook Court, near Rainbow and Wigwam, at about 6 p.m.

Inside the home they discovered about 50 plants worth an estimated $150,000.

Police say tips from neighbors alerted them to the drug operation.
