Suspect arrested in fatal apartment shooting
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 21-year-old man is behind bars after a fatal shooting at an apartment complex early Friday morning.
Police arrested Anton Louis in connection with a murder at a complex on Twain near Swenson.
The shooting happened at about 2 a.m. when police say an altercation broke out. Witnesses told police someone fired a shot into the air, striking a man standing in front of his second-story apartment.
Detectives began questioning witnesses and searching for the gunman. Louis was arrested at about 3 p.m. Friday. He was taken to Clark County Detention Center and charged with murder.
The victim of the shooting was later identified as 28-year-old Derrion Banks. The coroner's office said he died of a gunshot wound to the chest and arm.
