One person dead after crashing into parked semi
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One person is dead following a serious crash with a semi.
It happened around 6:40 a.m. Saturday on Gowan Road.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told Action News a red 2000 Ford Mustang crashed into a parked semi.
The car went underneath the semi.
Gowan was closed to traffic in both directions, between Shermcrest Way and Rainbow Boulevard.
Investigators are now trying to determine what caused the crash.
The victim has not been identified and his cause of death is pending an examination by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
This is the 74th traffic related fatality in Metro's jurisdiction for 2012.
