Man fatally shot during party at apartment complex
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for a gunman after a shooting at an apartment complex near Twain and Swenson early Friday morning.
Officers were called to the scene just after 2 a.m. after reports of gunfire at the Twain Palms apartment complex.
When they arrived, they found a man in his early twenties dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Detectives said there were several people attending a party at the time of the shooting. Witnesses told police there was an altercation that led to the shooting.
It's not clear whether the victim and the shooter knew each other.
The area of Twain and Swenson was shut down for hours as police gathered evidence and spoke with other partygoers.
Police have not released a description of the gunman.
