Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Two nurses linked to the Hepatitis C scare in Las Vegas a few years ago have rejected plea deals.

Keith Mathahs and Ronald Lakeman will now stand trial October 22. They both worked with Dr. Depak Desai who is at the center of the 2007 Hepatitis C outbreak.

In May, a state court judge said Desai will face all 28 felony criminal charges that a grand jury handed up against him almost two years ago.

Just last month, once of the victims died in the Philippines of apparent complications from Hepatitis C.
