Woman critically injured in crash on SR 160
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A woman is in critical condition after a head-on crash on State Route 160/159 on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened just after 1:30 when Nevada highway Patrol troopers say the woman, driving a Crown Victoria, collided with an SUV in the Blue Diamond area.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Troopers say a medical episode may have contributed to the crash.
The four people in the SUV suffered minor injuries.
The area was shut down for several hours as NHP investigated and tow trucks removed the cars.
The roadway was reopened at about 5 p.m.
