Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Rio Spa & Salon is hosting a drive for Locks of Love on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Donors must have at least 10 inches of hair. Layers will be accepted if the longest layer is at least 10 inches. Permed and colored hair is acceptable but bleached hair is not.
Donors will receive a complimentary blunt cut and a 30 percent discount on additional hair services.
In addition, an ongoing "Catch of the Day" contest will award a gift basket valued at $250 to the longest hair donation of the day.
Locks of Love is a public non-profuit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering long-term medical hair loss.
