Secretary of Interior speaks to Latino business leaders in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Local Latino business leaders gathered Monday in Las Vegas to talk about ways to strengthen the local economy.
The U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar was also on hand for the meeting on East Lake Mead and talked about the role that small businesses have in producing jobs.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Latinos are opening businesses at a rate that is three times the national average.
