Fire at senior apartment complex prompts evacuations
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A fire at a senior living apartment complex caused quite a scare for residents who were evacuated on Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at about 2:15 p.m. at the Clark Towers Apartments, near Sahara and Valley View.
The 2-alarm fire was confined to an upstairs unit and appeared to be the result of careless smoking.
Damage was estimated at about $15,000.
