Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It was a wet Wednesday morning throughout the Valley.

One of the hardest hit areas was behind Imperial Palace, called the Flamingo Wash, and after days of rain the water was moving quickly.

The fast moving water carried dirt and debris down the wash. People who live in the area say they've seen the wash get higher over the last few days.

Wednesday morning people who live along the flood canal packed up and moved as the water rose.

On the roads, drivers continued to navigate the wet roads.

In Henderson, there were street sweepers clearing dirt from one neighborhood.

By mid-morning, the road was dry but there was still evidence of wet weather; dirt eroded from a sidewalk causing a gaping hole.

Flood control said it had no reports of major damage from the rain, but street crews will be out for the rest of the day, mopping up the mess.
